A customer in Whitland was putting their bungalow on the market and had estate agent photos coming up. The beds weren't badly overgrown, but there's a difference between a garden that's been kept on top of and one that's been left for a few weeks, as you can see.
We weeded both beds, deadheaded the lupins, roses, and wisteria, and pruned the paeony. The bed in the middle of the lawn was edged to get the grass under control, and at the owner's request we also removed some flowers that had become mixed in with grass. Nothing dramatic, but the beds came up looking considerably tidier.
What we did
- Weeded both flower beds around the bungalow
- Deadheaded lupins, roses, and wisteria
- Pruned the paeony
- Edged lawn bed to give a clean, defined finish
- Removed flowers that had become too heavily mixed in with grass, at the owner's request
