How We Work

What to Expect From Us

We visit on a weekly or fortnightly schedule depending on what your garden needs and what works for you. Most gardens in the growing season tend to go for fortnightly visits. In winter, monthly is usually plenty.

We'll always let you know when we're coming, and if anything comes up, we can adjust our visits to suit your schedule.

There's no long contract. We simply ask for reasonable notice if you want to pause or stop, but we don't tie people in.

Pricing

How Much Does Regular Maintenance Cost?

Regular maintenance is charged at our standard half-day or day rate, depending on how much time your garden needs and how often you'd like us to visit.

If you'd like us to take the green waste away too, that's charged separately based on how much there is.

How often will you visit?
Most gardens benefit from fortnightly visits during the growing season (spring through autumn). In winter, monthly is usually enough. We'll suggest what we think works best for your garden, but you decide.
Do I need to be home when you visit?
No, as long as we can access the garden, and we're given a clear list. Many of our customers are out when we visit.
Is there a minimum contract length?
No long contracts. We ask for reasonable notice if you want to pause or stop, but we don't tie people in to anything.
What if the weather is bad?
We are unable to work in heavy rain, and occassionally heatwaves can get severe enough to also cancel work. If conditions make it genuinely impossible, we'll rearrange as soon as possible and keep you informed.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes, we bring everything we need. You don't need to provide any tools or equipment.
